Welcome to the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter blog! We have been wanting a blog for a long time, and we're so thrilled to finally have one! And even more thrilled that you're here for the launch! 

 

This is the place we can really tell our stories. We have so many stories to tell, and have had no real place to tell them until now: Poignant, heartwarming adoption stories. Inside looks at the people behind the vital work FAAS does to help the animals — and people — of our community. Compelling profiles of some of FAAS’s most special residents. 

 

It’s also going to be a place to learn about ways to keep your pets healthy, safe, and happy. And we’ll be adding some regular features we think you’ll really like!
